Laurence Anholt has written over seventy books, many in collaboration with his wife Catherine. A number of these are published by Orchard, including most recently 'Babies Babies Babies'. Laurence writes for a wide range of ages and is one of the most popular and versatile children's authors working today. Arthur Robins is known and loved the world over for his witty and lively picture books and cartoons. He has illustrated numerous titles for Orchard, including the picture books 'Baby Christmas', 'Small Knight and George' and 'Small Knight and George and the Pirates'. Laurence and Arthur previously collaborated on Orchard's Seriously Silly Stories - topsy turvy retellings of traditional tales with a twist. In this series, 'Snow White and the Seven Aliens' was awarded The Smarties Book Prize, and was shortlisted for the Federation of Children's Book Groups Children's Book Award and the Experian Big Three Book Prize. 'Daft Jack and the Beanstack' was on the Sheffield Book Award shortlist and 'Ghostyshocks and the Three Scares' was Pick of the Year for the Children's Book Award.
