Hataitai Playcentre Taniwha Songbook For Ukulele & Guitar

Author(s): Hataitai Playcentre

Music | Te Reo Maori Language

Following the success of the CD recorded by whanau at the Playcentre, Nga Waiata o te Taniwha, Hataitai Playcentre has produced a songbook for ukulele and guitar, so more early childhood centres and families can enjoy te reo Maori through waiata. The selection of 20 traditional and instructional te reo Maori waiata from the CD will introduce you tamariki to actions, colours and vowel sounds. The chords have been added so you can play along to encourage performance at your centres.

The songs include; E Toru Nga Mea; Tena Koe; Tena Koutou Means Hello; AEIOU; E Rere Taku Poi; E Papa Waiari; Korero Parirau; To Ringa Ki Roto; Paki Paki; Ma is White; If You're Happy and You Know It; Ra Whanau Koa; Tohora Nui; One Day a Taniwha; A Haka Mana; Pokarekare Ana; E Moe Pepi; Te Aroha; Ehara I te Mea; Whakaaria Mai.
