Author(s): Jane Bloomfield
The adventures of Lily Max, a schoolgirl at Middle Lakes Normal, who is crazy about fashion. When she hears the school ball has a prize for best-dressed costume, she comes up with her most daring designs yet...but reckons without her arch-enemy, Violet Hughes. The author Jane Bloomfield says, "I hope my books inspire children to be creative and a little experimental with fashion - not to be afraid to rock their own style. Lily Max is her own person, she's probably the type of girl I wish I'd been - doggedly determined against all odds, and outspoken."
Shortlisted for New Zealand Book Awards for Children and Young Adults: Junior Fiction 2016.
