When he sees a TV news item about President Donald Trump's plan to build a wall across the US-Mexican border, he has a lightning bulb moment. Why not build a wall across his bedroom? Sam decides to write to Donald Trump, seeking advice and offering his own pearls of wisdom.    Sophie Siers' wryly phrased letters from Sam to Donald depict the dilemma of both wall builders - to keep the undesirables out. Sam's childlike observations mark the underlying seriousness of the issue, as well as  Trump's childlike behaviour, and this is accurately reflected in Anne Villeneuve's perceptive illustrations. From the little yellow quiff, the only visible feature identifying Donald Trump, as aides hand him Sam's latest missive to the scenes of domestic disharmony, they are full of beautifully understated humour.    This is a politically astute modern fable about the importance of communication and negotiation to solve the world's problems. For all ages, especially adults (but not diehard Republicans)!  I love it. - Ruth
