Meet Mini Whinny, the littlest horse in the stable! She's ever so cute and ever so naughty!

It's August 1st, the official birthday for all horses. But Mini Whinny wants a celebration of her very own. Why should she share with all the other horses? In the middle of the night, she slinks out of her stable and steals away with all the party preparations.

Ruth's Review: Mini Whinny is the cutest little pony, but also the naughtiest at Blackthorn Stables. She doesn't want to share her birthday with all the other horses on August 1st, Official Horse Birthday, and has a "big tanty"! That night when all the horses are asleep, Mini Whinny helps herself to all the party treats. But she discovers it's not much fun having a party on your own and has to come up with a plan to make amends. Gregg is better known for her adventure novels about girls and horses, set in exotic places like Italy and Russia. Happy Birthday to Me! is her first story in a new picture book series and it's just adorable. Paul's gorgeous, detailed illustrations add so many extra layers of humour and I'm really looking forward to seeing what mischievous antics this talented duo will devise for Mini Whinny in the sequels.
