Together they present the varied facets of living in these islands - pleasure, pain, calamity, comedy, fun, misfortune, loss, triumph indeed, as in any part of the world, of being human. Most have been published previously, appearing in magazines including NZ Listener, Takahe, Eve, Thursday, and some newspapers; four have been included in anthologies; and others broadcast on radio. Several have won short story competitions. |
