Anne Rooney has taught English at Cambridge and York universities and was Royal Literary Fellow at Newnham College, Cambridge University in 2014-16. She has written many books on science and technology and was short-listed for the ALCS Educational Writers' Award in 2015. She brings her knowledge of a wide range of subjects to a young audience with accuracy, humour and fun! Jake McDonald is a freelance illustrator who graduated from Brighton University in illustration and now specialises in digital illustration for children. His work can be found across the globe, on shelves of shops in Asia, Europe and the USA. Senor Sanchez is a freelance illustrator who studied in Fine Arts and Graphic Arts in Valencia. He has worked for many major publishers, including Penguin Random House and Hachette. He lives in Madrid, Spain.
